Both of us were looking into each other’s eyes when we heard a knock at the door. The maid came inside with a glass of turmeric milk so as to fulfill the ritual as it was the first night after our marriage of us sleeping together. She wore a flared white lehenga and has put a transparent cape on her head, but I was actually interested to undo them as soon as possible.

I took the glass of milk from the maid and again locked the door. I drank half of the glass and gave the remaining half to her. She gulped it & looked at her face, more than excited she was nervous. I sat beside her and held her hand in mine to make her comfortable with me.
